Summary: The Deluxe Lone Star Stratocaster is hot-rodded with Texas Special single-coil neck and middle pickups, and a huge-sounding Twin Head humbucking bridge pickup. The S-1 switch built into the volume knob selects the outer coil of the bridge pickup for single-coil tone. The result is a true Deluxe performer with versatile tone.
Body: Alder with a gloss 3-color Sunburst finish.
Neck: Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length. 1.650” nut width, 9.5” radius, 22 frets, white dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Two Texas Special single coil pickups and a Twin Head humbucker in the bridge position, Fender sealed tuning keys, S-1 switch, synthetic bone nut, 3-ply mint green pickguard, master volume/2x tone controls, 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Synchronized Tremolo system.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition. It has light surface scratches throughout. There is a small gouge on the pickguard near the neck joint.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
