Summary: This 2000 Gibson Les Paul Special captures the vibe, feel and tonality of a traditional Les Paul. A Mahogany body, Maple top and a pair of humbucking pickups provide classic tone, power and sustain and make it a pleasure to play.
Body: Mahogany with Maple top in an Ebony finish.
Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1.69” nut width, 22 frets, mini pearl trapezoid inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Gibson humbucker pickups, Kluson Gibson Deluxe tuning keys, ABR-1 bridge, stop bar tailpiece, bone nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has surface scratches on the body, and many dings . The back of the neck is clean,save for a very slight ding that does not affect playability, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
Weight: 8 lbs. 7 oz.
