Description
Lightweight, 9-volt battery powered digital tachometer reads and stores data from the last four laps, capturing the eight highest RPM readings, and eight lowest RPM readings, then removes the highest and lowest RPM readings from each group and calculates the average high RPM and the average low RPM. This gives a true snapshot of the car’s performance.
The bright red digital display is easy to read, day or night. The Xtreme Accu-Tach will work on 4, 6, and 8-cylinder engines using an MSD or magneto, up to 15,000 RPM. It is factory pre-set for 8-cylinder operation.
With a push of the display button after the last race, the Xtreme Accu-Tach will display four numbers:
- The highest RPM the engine turned in the last race
- The low average RPM turned in the last race
- The high average RPM turned in the last race
- The seconds the engine took to rev from low average to high average
