Summary: This Deering D6 Deluxe 6 string Banjo is tuned like a guitar (E,A,D,G,B,E) It’s a professional banjo that has the full rim and tone ring design of a bluegrass banjo, for increased volume and sustain. It will fill the room with great music with a light touch of your fingers or flat pick.
Body: Deering -06- bell bronze tone ring, three ply violin grade Maple rim, one piece cast zinc resonator flange.
Neck: Mahogany with a Ebony fingerboard, 26.25” scale length, 1.625” nut width, 22 frets, gold and mother of pearl inlays.
Hardware: Guitar tuning keys, 5/8″ Deering Compensated 6-sting Maple/Ebony Bridge
Deering 6-String Tailpiece, 11” head.
Cosmetics: This banjo is in great shape. It has the lightest wear a used banjo can have on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. Overall, this banjo plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house banjo tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
Weight: 9 lbs. 12 oz.
Case: This banjo ships in its original hardshell case, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
