- Dusters are most effective / should be used on cool, dry surfaces.
* We do not recommend washing your car duster until the duster is pushing around dust instead of lifting it. Washing your duster will remove some of the baked in wax treatment and reduce the effectiveness. Even if the mop is turning brown, the duster will still effectively lift dust.
