This 2006 Fender Deluxe Active Jazz Bass was designed for working bassists at all levels, offering classic styling and modern features that make it a superior performer ideal for stage and studio alike. Its stylish combination of time-honored look, special modern pickups and active electronics creates a sophisticated and tonally versatile Jazz Bass experience.
Body: Alder in Black finish.
Neck: Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 34” scale length, 1.5” nut width, 20 frets, white dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Fender Dual-Coil Ceramic Noiseless Jazz Bass with Nickel Plated Pole Pieces, standard open gear tuning keys, 4 saddle vintage style bridge, chrome knobs, master volume, pan control, three-band active EQ with treble boost/cut, bass boost/cut and mid boost/cut, synthetic bone nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in good shape. It has light surface scratches on the body, and a few small nicks/dings. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
